Terry’s PMP 35g Bar hits stores
Sales continue to grow. Pivotal to this success has been the effective implementation of an All Year Round sales strategy including carefully targeted NPD, notably a Terry’s tablet and more recently Terrys 35g PMP bar to break into the counter display unit space - both of which are ideally positioned for ICC. To date, SHS have sold over £1.7 million worth of tablets or the equivalent of the distance from London to Paris in Tablets end-to-end! The team anticipates that the PMP bar can achieve similar success.
The team is also looking forward to implementing an ambitious Christmas plan with four new pieces of seasonal NPD including the return of the White Ball, a Cranberry Tablet and a new Segsations pack.
Burtons case optimisation welcomed by customers
With a view to making their impulse offering more competitive and attractive to customers, Burtons have reduced the case size of both the Maryland and Malteser PMPs.
The price and size drop which took place in late June has already been met favourably by wholesalers and retailers alike. Burtons and SHS anticipate an uplift in overall sales value due to the new accessible case prices with both SKUs falling well below £10 a case.
In addition to the case change, the Maryland PMP unit has received a hefty weight increase to 200g, placing it in a highly competitive position against competitor cookies.
