5:50 am, the alarm goes off in a deafening

  siren

I groggily get out of the bed that I wish to

  retire in

If I’m in a bad mood, I fake a smile to
  appease my brother

Because if I annoy him, he would be in a
  pother

By 6:20 I hope to be ready and done

So I can do my dad’s ice, and chill, pardon the
                                                                                 Every day
  pun

Every day I do this routine
                                                                              By: Isabel Henderson

This routine I’ve done, since before 13

We leave before 6:40 to be on our way

And hope and pray that our destination shall
be in the same place it is every day

I stay at school for about seven hours

Then leave or stay, depending on the day

After that, my mother picks me up and we go
  home

I do my nightly routine and am left alone

I lay in bed to try and catch some sleep

Only to wake back up, and have it all repeat

  Every day

                                                                                                                       12
