he Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted the Democracy Defense Project in October, where former
Michigan governors John Engler and Jim Blanchard, along with other bipartisan leaders, emphasized the
Timportance of educating voters on Michigan's election security measures. A recent poll showed that voter confidence
in elections significantly increases when they are informed about 12 existing practices, such as pre-election machine
testing and monitoring absentee ballot drop boxes. The Democracy Defense Project aims to reduce misinformation and
