Voluntary Legal Protection Plan
TNJH offers the MetLaw Legal Plan through Hyatt Group
Legal. This is a voluntary plan, but as a TNJH employee you
are eligible for preferred group pricing. With this plan, you
can use any attorney in the national Hyatt Legal network at
no charge. You and your dependents can receive certain
legal services such as personal property protection, small
claims assistance, debt collection and identity theft defense,
tax audits, and civil litigation defense. You can also use
attorneys in the Hyatt Legal network to assist in document
preparation and review such as affidavits, deeds, mortgages,
prenuptial agreements, wills, and trusts. You can choose to
visit an attorney that is out of the Hyatt Group Legal network,
but the attorney fees will not be 100% covered.
When visiting an attorney that is out of network, a
reimbursement schedule will apply.

Next Steps
If you are not making changes to your benefits for 2019, your current elections will roll forward to the upcoming plan year. Those
wishing to add, drop or change coverage will be required to complete an enrollment form and submit it to the Human Resources
Benefits Team, no later than Friday, May 17th. If you have any questions regarding the enrollment process, please contact the
Jewish Home Benefits Team at: Benefits@Jewishhome.org
Employee Contributions
Depending on the health plan you choose, you and The New Jewish Home share the cost of your benefits with The New Jewish
Home paying the majority of the costs. The amount you pay depends on the coverage you choose, the number of dependents
you cover, and whether or not you use tobacco.
Your Medical, Dental, and Vision contributions are made on a pre-tax basis. This means that your contributions are deducted
from your pay before payroll taxes are calculated. All other benefit elections are made on a post-tax basis.
