Climbing Knots: Loops

a person, with one loop for each leg and
the third loop around the torso beneath the
                     armpits. Though not recommended except
in extreme circumstances, it could be used
to lower an unconscious person. This knot
could also be used by campers and boaters
who want to attach three objects to the end
                     of one rope.
