                   When ultimate power in a binding knot is required, the double
                   constrictor, the best of all binding knots, is the answer. It has
                   been compared to the grip of a boa constrictor. When the
                   diameter of whatever this knot is tied to is large, the basic
                   constrictor knot (see page 73) loses some of its strength—
                   and thus the double constrictor would come into play. It can
                   be used, for example, as a substitute for hose clamps. With a
                   short length of cord, the double constrictor knot works great
                   to hold a sack without a drawstring closed.
