The Alley is a very popular
bubble tea chain that is
renowned for the quality of their
drinks and appealing aesthetics.
Found in numerous locations in
southern Ontario, they are only
looking to expand even further
across the province and have
opened a franchise store in
University Plaza.

One of The Alley’s best known drinks is their fresh, soy milk,
or matcha Deerioca (pictured above). Named after their iconic
mascot, the deer, it is one of the few drinks made from
scratch. High quality tea leaves are chosen and roasted with
"secret ingredients". Separately, sugar canes are put through a
special boiling process. This results in a distinct sugar cane
syrup, creating the unique flavour of the drink. The Alley
adds handmade, fresh tapioca before combining these two
ingredients and milk.
