3.  Edit the patient’s Case to update the authorization details (number of visits approved
                       and date range) in the Additional Info box. Confirm that Authorization Req: is set to
                       Yes.







                   4.  Save Patient.


               Tracking Authorizations
               To track authorizations, the daytime Clinic Coordinator should review the Ending
               Authorizations and Expired Authorizations reports from the WebPT dashboard on a daily
               basis.

               These reports outline the Patient Name, Auth #, Begin date, End date, the date of the patient’s
               Next Appt (if scheduled), Current # of visits used, and the Total Visits used in the case.













               The Coordinator must open and review each patients’ chart that appears in the reports for the
               following reasons:
                   1.  To ensure the clinic does not use more visits than approved.
                   2.  To update the End date if an estimation was initially entered.
                   3.  To schedule a re-evaluation for the patient if their authorization is going to expire and
                       additional authorization will be requested.
