2020 was a year of significant adaptations, not only for EPIC, but
globally. The beginning of the year as I sat before our Delegates and
Senators at the MACS Legislative Breakfast, it never crossed my mind
that the challenges I presumed we would face with funding could morph
into what is now an unrelated global pandemic.

As we continue recovery through this pandemic and enter another
fiscal year, we wanted to share our upcoming plans and provide some
recent highlights. The past year has brought many changes to our
organization. The announcement and my appointment as Board Chair,
EPIC’s 35th anniversary, another “sold out” crowd at our Annual Gala Judy Graham
that assisted in the production of our $27K fundraising efforts, and the Board Chair
multitude of learning we experienced in order to thrive under a “new
norm” underscores our continued expansion in all operating areas.
In addition to our continuous support for people with disabilities, the
board was busy in FY2020 with efforts to strengthen EPIC that included
board development, reviews of policies and procedures, and the
execution of a successful year-end giving campaign themed, “EPIC
                  Survivors.”
                                                                                            BOARD OF
EPIC is a not-for-profit organization that believes a person with a DIRECTORS
disability does not lessen his/her ability to mainstream with people that
do not have disabilities. As a team, we teach and do hands on modeling Judy Graham, Chair
of how to be effective in providing support to someone who needs Charles Sherren, Vice
assistance with specific parts of their lives. Our goal is to not only teach Chair
and build upon targeted areas that a person needs help with but to also
identify and promote the strengths that he/she already has. Using this Toreico O’Neal,

With that said, we invite you to join in these worthwhile initiatives
