HIGHLIGHTS
Strategic
Appointment of new Board Chair and Officers that led the
development of board goals where focus was made to board
development, strategic planning, and fundraising.
Update and review of various policies to align EPIC with changes
brought by the coronavirus pandemic.
EPIC’s overall success and achievements was recognized by Prince
George's County Economic Development Corporation and we were
honored during the county Business Appreciation Week.
Financial
• Our investment portfolio experienced gains of 21% over the prior
year.
• Our net assets grew by $401,663.
• Overall income for the year increased by 32%.
• Granted $1.2M from SBA Payroll Protection Loan whose
forgiveness is anticipated.
• Recipient of the Prince George’s County Wage Grant that yielded
$289,000.
Operating
During a global pandemic, EPIC maintained an employment team
with no furloughs.
Successful submission of applications that rendered Medicaid
numbers for all EPIC sites for the transition of billing from a state-
driven platform to a federal system.
