Hummus Recipe














        Ingredients

        1 can chick peas


        2 tbsp olive oil
        Juice from ½ lemon


        1-2 cloves garlic (optional)
        2 drops lemon essential oil


        1 drop lime essential oil
        1 drop cumin essential oil


        2 drops black pepper essential oil
        Salt and Pepper to taste




        Instructions


        Place chickpeas, olive oil and lemon juice in blender or food

        processor. Peel and crush garlic, blend with chickpea mixture,

        add essential oils, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.




        Tips – Be sure to add enough salt. The salt will bring out the

                   flavors of everything else in recipe and without it the

                   hummus will taste bland.




                   If it is a bit dry, add more olive oil or some water until

                   the consistency is good.
