WELCOME LETTER

Welcome to the Amy’s Drive Thru team!

This is an exciting new adventure for Amy’s Kitchen and the fast food
world—and you were selected for the unique skills and abilities you’ll bring to this

project. Thank you for joining us! We’ve got delicious organic veggie burgers,
shakes, and fries to serve, so let’s not waste any time…

We wrote this manual to help you get up and running as smoothly and
quickly as possible. We know that part of the challenge of creating a new concept
is that there are, well…new concepts! Fear not. We understand you’ll need a little
time to learn about all the ins and outs of Amy’s Drive Thru and what makes us so
special.

What’s in a veggie burger, what options are vegan, what does gluten-free
mean, and what the heck are GMO’s? You probably don’t know the answers to
these questions yet but, that’s why we created this manual and a hands-on
orientation. And that’s why we’re here. Don’t be shy about asking for help or for
more info about anything that’s not clear to you. We want to give you everything
you need to be a fantastic success, so please speak up and ask us your silliest
questions. (Chances are, your supervisor had to ask the same questions when
they started, and they’d love to share their knowledge with you.)
