REQUIREMENTS FOR A DIPLOMA
To receive a New Jersey State diploma from Keyport High School, a student must earn 135 credits. In addition, all
students must meet the minimum proficiency standard on each section of the PARCC or on an alternate assessment
listed by the NJDOE. Students enrolled in Biology courses are required to complete the Biology Competency Test.
With each exam, students are subject to standards established by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE).
Minimum standards of proficiency on all state exams are set by the NJDOE.
