They giggled. “Of
course,” shouted the
chorus. And one by one
they all chipped in, pushing
each other, while they worked
together to produce a healthy clown!
After a few minutes of intense
work, everybody sighed with relief when Mr.
Clown was finished. “He looks quite cute,” said
Bananarama, “I love the grated carrots
for his hair. It gives him an exotic look!”
Grouchy Cucumber looked up, “and his radish eyes
look mischievous. What a clever idea!” Grouchy Cucumber
was not to give praise very easily so everybody clapped
enthusiastically.
“It does seem quite fun to eat fruits and vegetables
this way,” chimed Bob, glancing at the buttons of Mr.
Clown’s outfit, made of green peas. The green peas wiggled
