MISCELLANEOUS BENEFITS
EDUCATION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
The Education Reimbursement Program is available to you as a full-time or part-time employee after you complete at least six (6) months
of employment and are in good standing with no disciplinary actions. This program reimburses course tuition, books and registration
for college, university and technical school courses when you are pursuing job-related degrees and professional certifications/licenses
(including GED, English as a Second Language, HVAC, etc.).
AMOUNTS PER CALENDAR YEAR
Part-time, hourly = $1,000 | Full-time, hourly = $2,000 | Salaried = $5,000
COURSE GRADE
C or better & Pass = 100% reimbursement
Please note all reimbursements for education and tuition expenses are made to the extent to which budget funds are available. Requests
for participation will be handled on a first come, first served basis. If you resign within a year of receiving the education reimbursement,
you will be required to repay 100% of the reimbursement back to Lyon Living.
TO GET STARTED
Prior to enrolling in a course, you must complete the Education Reimbursement Request Form located on Lyon Link.
Your form must be given to your supervisor(s) for approval and submitted to the Human Resources Department
for processing. The education reimbursement must be approved in advance for you to be eligible for assistance.
CREDIT UNION MEMBERSHIP
Lyon employees are eligible to join Kinecta Credit Union, a full-service financial institution. The credit union helps members save money,
provides on-site lunch and learns and offers employees competitive rates for financial services.
EMPLOYEE HOUSING DISCOUNT
Lyon Living offers you the opportunity to live at one of our beautiful Lyon properties while receiving a discount off the market rent and a
waived security deposit. A 20% discount is available to full-time employees, and a 10% discount if available to part-time employees. Please
note, benefits are subject to availability at the Lyon properties. To qualify, you must complete at least 30 days of employment and must
be in good standing. To apply for the Employee Housing Discount, you first must receive prior written approval from your immediate
Supervisor, General Manager and the Human Resources Department prior to move-in and complete the appropriate paperwork with
the Human Resources Department.
