LEVERAGE INTEREST TO GROW MEMBERSHIPS
The Potential of Airports to Reach Millennials Is Untapped
CHICAGO O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
INCREASE ENROLLMENTS AND LOYALTY WITH TRAVEL REWARDS PROGRAMS.
Millennials are less likely to be enrolled in tourism pro- grams such as hotel rewards and frequent flyer member- ships. In fact, we discovered that only 30% of Millennial Air Travelers belong to a hotel rewards program compared to 47% of Air Travelers ages 35+. And just 45% of Millen- nial Air Travelers are members of a Frequent Flyer pro- gram, compared to 56% of Air Travelers ages 35+.
Airports offer the ideal opportunity to deliver a customized one-on-one experience to enroll, engage and excite this audience. Millennials want to be rewarded, yet it needs
to be in a way that suits their lifestyle. Give them an easy 1-step enrollment process, time-saving perks like skipping lines, and the convenience of on-demand rewards and you will be rewarded in return.
