NUMERATOR AND DENOMINATOR

A fraction has two parts—numerator and denominator—which are separated

by a dividing line.
1 Numerator
For example, Dividing line
2 Denominator

The numerator tells us the number of parts taken/considered and the
denominator tells us the total number of parts (whole object).
