There are five types of bases
that form nucleic acid: adenine (A),
guanine (G), cytosine (C ), Uracil ( U ),

                   and Thymine (T ).

              The four types used in
            DNA are A, G, C, and T. The

              four types used in RNA
                    are A, G, C, and U.

A and G are called I can remember that
purine bases, while because Apple and Ginger
C, U, and T are called are the best, most purely

   pyrimidine bases. delicious flan flavors!

                                  Purine has one purine
                             hexagonal ring and pyrimidine
                            one pentagonal ring.

                              Pyrimidine has only
                             one hexagonal ring.
