KARL LANDSTEINER - was an
Austrian biologist, physician, and immunologist
who distinguished the main blood groups in 1900,
having developed the modern system of
classification of blood groups. He is also known as
‘father of transfusion medicine’
KARL MARX - a German philosopher, economist,
socialist and historian. He advocated the Social
Class Conflict and Capitalism Theory, and claimed
that the ruling class in a capitalist society is
responsible for the creation of criminal law and
their ideological basis in the interpretation and
enforcement of the laws.
KARL SCHULMEISTER – was Napoleon’s eye and
military secret. He began his career in offensive
espionage under a cover role. He was able to
infiltrate the Austrian General Staff.
KATE WARNE - was the first female detective, in
1856, in the Pinkerton Detective Agency and the
United States
KETAMINE – a hallucinogenic dissociative anesthetic
that is used in surgery and veterinary medicine. It
causes amnesia (memory loss) and analgesia
(pain-relief).
