        Dear Mr. Cygan:

        My wife and I are IBM retirees, having a combined 35 years in Sales and Sales Management.  We live in the Palos Heights, Palos
        Park area and have shopped at both of your locations for close to 40 years. During that time we have had multiple experiences so
        outstanding in terms of customer service with an Associate at the Palos Height store named Sally J.

        Sally embodies the concept that “customers come first” and she does not let her title get in the way of superior customer
        service. On multiple occasions I have seen her leave her office to bag groceries when a line is piling up and on multiple occasions
        she has assisted me in finding a particular item that I could not locate.  Most recently I was checking out on Memorial Day and
        she walked over to the register and asked if I was a Veteran. I confirmed that I was and she said Jewel-Osco was honoring its
        Veterans with a 10% discount for the day.

        In summary I believe Sally is a true asset to the Jewel-Osco company and the Palos Heights store mirrors your philosophy on the
        subject of superior customer service. There is no doubt in my mind that Sally would have succeeded in sales at IBM.
