Dear Mr. Zimanek:

I am writing today to thank you for the great group of team members you have in the West Dundee Jewel-Osco store.
Many of these amazing people have been with Jewel-Osco for years and they truly feel like family to us customers. There
is one group of your team that actually are “unsung heroes!” These people are the group that supervise and serve in the
deli department. The all deserve a “purple heart” for stress in battle during the workday. For years I have watched as the
public got more demanding, more impatient and less appreciative as they visit the deli. I was in the store on Father’s Day
and it really hit home to me that I needed to write and tell you what an amazing team you have serving in the deli
department. Your team, as always, did an amazing job of dealing with the public that day!

Maybe the store could do something special for the team as a reward for a job well done? I hope these amazing
professionals realize their presence does make a difference to us Jewel-Osco customers.
