Teenage Employment

Many years ago, like in the 20th century, teenagers were working as an employee to help their parents or to

accommodate themselves with official agreements. However, nowadays, teenagers can’t be employed as they

wanted. In our country, the age limit for employment is not younger than 16, which means if you are under
sixteen, you can’t work as an employee officially. From my point of view, kids of those incompetent ages have

many reasons to be employed as they wanted.

The first reason of all is the experience.

We will get different experiences that are important in our life. When you work as a service worker, it will
improve your skills to communicate with others. Working in the cafeteria will teach you speed and neatness.

Almost all teenagers have financial problems when they want to hang out with their friends. If they work part-

time in their free time, they can find their consumption money. When they earn money by themselves, they will
understand the value of money and learn to save it or to spend it which is an important skill for young people.

In teen ages, a circle of acquaintances is one of the essentials. Having many friends will make your life way
better and more fun. You can make new friends or meet inspirational people in your work.

Even though teenagers want to work, people reject them because of their ages and experiences. Instead of

rejecting them, employers should hire them and teach them. Also, the government should allow thirteen to
fifteen years olds to work.
