Teenage Employment

Employing teenagers should be fine if employers get their guardian’s permission or they or their

parents think they have matured enough to work. Most teenagers like me have problems with
their money because many people live in poverty due to inflation. Some children must support

their families and siblings and themselves but unfortunately, they cannot get employed because

they are young.

I do not think kids should be forced to work but

they should be free to work if they want to.

I feel bad for myself for getting money from my parents every time I urgently need money for
my studies. I often think about when I would earn money by myself and take care of myself with

my money. When I was on summer break this summer, I worked a few times at the coffee shop

my parents made and I got my first salary soon. After all the pain I went through managing the
purchases with my hard-earned salary got myself a few notebooks and a pen. So, I think teenage

employment should be legal or open to teenagers.

If teenage employment were more widely known that it is available or if employing teenagers
had fewer requirements fewer children would have difficulties with their financial situation and

many more advantages would include if it does happen.
