                           CONSERVATION OF ENERGY, TECHNOLOGY ABSORPTION
                               AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE EARNINGS AND OUTGO
                     The information under Section 134(3)(m) of the Companies Act, 2013 read with rule 8(3)
                          of the Companies (Accounts) Rules, 2014 for the year ended March 31, 2019.
        A. ConservationofEnergy :
            i.  Thestepstakenorimpactonconservationofenergy:
               1.  Company has incorporated LED fixtures in lighting system in place of high wattage fixtures, which has helped to
                   reduceconsumptionandalsotoattainhigherLuxlevel,
               2.  Electricallosseshavebeenminimizedbyregularupgradationofelectricalsystemonacontinuousbasis,
               3.  Turboventilatorsareinstalledinproductdrumstorageareatosaveelectricalconsumption,
               4.  Maintaininghigherpowerfactorandcontinuousmonitoringhasminimizedmaximumdemand&electricallosses,
               5.  Energyefficientmotorsareusedinelectricalsystemtoreduceconsumption.

            ii. T hestepstakenbytheCompanyforutilizingalternatesourcesofenergy:
               1.  ConversionofoilfiredBoilerintonaturalgasfiredhasensuredlessmaintenance&reductioninpollutionlevels,
               2.  Betterfuelcombustionhasbeenobtainedduetopersistentusageofadditivesforbiomassfuel,
               3.  Continuous checking of insulation on pipelines and replacement wherever necessary has resulted in better
                   efficiency,
               4.  TreatingofBoilerwaterwithadditiveshasledtobetterThermalefficiency,
               5.  SO2 emission has significantly reduced by ensuring maximum utilisation of Briquette fired thermopac over LDO
                   fired,
               6.  Effective addition of water treatment chemicals has helped in reducing scale formation thereby resulting in better
                   heattransfer.
               7.  InstallationofPNGfiredThermopactoreducepollutionlevelandforcosteffectiveness,
               8.  Extension of existing amine plant is underway to increase capacity and install additional Reactors and ancilliary
                   equipmentsforenhancingproductionmixcapacitytomeetproductdemands,
               9.  LDOfiredThermopacwillbeconvertedtoPNGinlinewithBoiler,
               10. Additional balancing equipments are being installed to increase and to obtain better plant product
                   qualities/capacities so that optimum plant utilization can be achieved and thereby reduction in energy
                   consumption,
            iii. T hecapitalinvestmentonenergyconservationequipments:
               TheCapitalinvestmentonenergyconservationequipmentsis`127.72Lakhs  duringtheFY2018-19.

        B. TechnologyAbsorption:
            i.  theeffortsmadetowardstechnologyabsorption:
               a)  New process technology absorption in R&D pilot plant for flaking machine and gas reactor adding new facilities in
                   R&Dtocatergrowthofnewrangeofproducts.
               b)  AbsorptionofdesignandengineeringfromR&Dprocesshasyieldedqualityproductsforlocalandexportcustomer.
               c)  Technical persons exposed to international symposiums, exhibitions has helped to adopt advance technology for
                   commercialproductionsoastobenefitindustrialgrowth.
            ii. Thebenefitsderivedlikeproductimprovement,costreduction,productdevelopmentorimportsubstitution:
               a)  Fulfilledcommitmentsforgrowingneedsoflocalandinternationalcustomers.
               b) Enhancedproductioncapabilityresultedinoverallgrowthofourindustry.
               c)  SuccessfulcertificationofISO9001:2015,ISO14001:2015&ISO45001-2018.
               d) Adaptationoflatesttechnicalskillshashelpedtoproducequalityproducts.
