It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved in so many events. To see a sea of Blue, Green, Yellow and

Red running down the home straight to the finish line with huge smile and the look of determination was a fantastic

sight. The school oval was awash with colour and the enthusiasm and spirit students showed for their house and
        teammates was awe-inspiring.

I want to thank all the students for their huge effort and the way they behaved all day, the carnival had an amazing
atmosphere, credit to you all. Thank you to all the staff for their huge contributing to making the day happen and run

so smoothly and lastly to the PE Department, the AV Department Maintenance crew for the hours they have spent in

        preparing such a memorable day.

Finally, the EISSA Athletics Championships will be on Tuesday 25 February for the Primary School and Wednesday 26

February for the Secondary School students who have been selected to represent the school team.

                             Primary Health and Physical Education

We have had a busy start to Term 2 in the Health and Physical Education Department. EISSA Football has commenced

for Under 10 and Under 12 Boys and Girls. The Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 5 students participated in lunchtime
Interhouse Sports. They had a great time playing Kickball. Congratulations to the Falcons who reigned supreme. Keep

an eye on the Daily Organisation towards the end of this term for more opportunities to participate in lunchtime sport.

This week we have our ELC, Prep to Grade 2 and Grade 3 to 5 Athletics Days. We are looking forward to seeing students

participate with their peers in a variety of activities. We will have photos and results for you in the next Newsletter.
