Homecoming “Economic Impact” Breakfast
This year’s 2023 Homecoming “Economic Impact” Breakfast highlighted the impact of HBCU tourism on
economic ecosystems within Tallahassee’s local communities. As Tallahassee’s oldest and longest-serving
African American Chamber of Commerce, the Capital City Chamber of Commerce has a unique perspective
and understanding of the role played by Florida A&M University and its constituency in providing
economic stimulus to area businesses. Thank you to our presenting sponsors, The Florida Sports Foundation
and Visit Tallahassee.
2023 Advantage Conference
Themed “Building Strong Community through Financial Opportunities”, the 2023 Advantage Conference not
only served to provide the community with information and existing resources for economic enrichment but
also debuted the ongoing progress of the Capital City Chamber of Commerce, Leon County Government,
and the City of Tallahassee, in developing a living municipal document that will guide residents and local
government offices alike in providing pathways to financial enrichment and fiscal freedom for systemically
underserved residents in Tallahassee. Thank you to our presenting sponsors, Leon County Government and
Jim Moran Institute (JMI).
Annual Membership Spring Meeting
Capital City Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Spring Membership meeting is held every year to showcase
upcoming initiatives and incredible events. This meeting is open to all our new members and potential
members and is a great way to get everyone excited for the year ahead.
Coffee & Commerce
Capital City Chamber of Commerce had an amazing year of networking during our “Coffee & Commerce
Brewing Success” meetings. Held each first Tuesday of the month, at Vino Beano, we had a great turnout
of members who participated in active and engaging conversations about our local business operations.
Thank you to co-host COCA for adding an emphasis on the arts and music at this event! Thank you to our key
sponsors, Jim Moran Institute (JMI), Florida Blue, and Vino Beano.
The Creators Summit
As the business industry in Tallahassee continues to grow, so does the pool of innovative business owners
and outstanding creatives. With the thrill of inspiring business owners and creators driven by the excitement
of connecting with others through their services and products, the Capital City Chamber of Commerce (CCC)
team was pleased to present our highly anticipated “Creators Summit” in June 2023. Designed specially to
equip business owners and creators with marketing tools and resources to elevate and promote business
development, The Creators Summit was a thoroughly curated marketing summit, developed in response
to growing marketing needs presented by our members and community to facilitate an environment that
promotes business development and commerce through content creation and marketing.
