Page 21 - RFDS - What is it like

My name is Kaylee, and this is my place. I live in Victoria,
Australia and I have two annoying brothers who always blame
everything on me.

This year was the worst. First, there were bushfires, then floods, then Covid 19. We went
into lockdown. When it was really bad we had to stay at home, no school and the limits at
the shops was two things.

Now we are back at school and the shops are fine now but Covid 19 is still walking around.
Now let’s stop talking about this year. Let’s talk about the happy stuff. I have three BFFS,
Tara, Lila and Haylei. Haylei kind of looks like me, brown hair and freckles. My friends and I
all love to dance, sing and talk.

I have two pets, a dog and a cat, Rocky and Cuddles. Rocky always looks in the window for
food and chases his tail. We never get to see the cat except when it’s dinner time. I have
lived in my house for a year. I like my house because it is near a shopping centre with
McDonalds and Kmart. My mum loves Kmart, she basically lives there. I love to watch Big
Brother. They have to do challenges and they get evicted.
