ATLANTA BRAVES FOUNDATION
The Atlanta Braves Foundation is the charitable arm of the Atlanta Braves that invests in programs that serve
children, families, and communities across Braves Country through grant making, strategic partnerships and
signature programs. The Atlanta Braves Foundation serves as the fundraising and funding mechanism for
Braves Care and allows organizations, individuals, companies and communities from across Braves Country
to engage with the Club in social good.
BRAVES FOUNDATION BASEBALL FIELD REFURBISHMENT
The Foundation has pledged to refurbish 10 baseball fields in Braves Country. To date, West Manor Park in
Atlanta, Fullers Park in Marietta, Powder Springs Park in Powder Springs, Dacula Park in Dacula, Harrison
Park in Marietta, and Tom Fontaine Park in Macon, GA have been renovated. The field refurbishment proj-
ects include renovating the infield and outfield, sanding and painting the bleachers, moving foul poles,
installing top-notch pitcher’s mounds as well as new backstop netting and sprucing up the dugouts.
BRAVES FOUNDATION GRANTS PROGRAM
The Atlanta Braves Foundation contributed cash and in-kind donations to the local community in 2019 and
awarded 28 local non-profit organizations with grants to fund their 2019-20 initiatives. The Atlanta Braves
Foundation funds organizations that focus on youth in the areas of health and wellness, education, and
youth baseball.
