Social Enterprise: Rise at the Cove
Despite being in existence for less than a year, Rise at the Cove is officially the best social enterprise café in Greystones! We can say this because we received a Special Achievement Award in the 2022 Greystones Municipal District ‘People of the Year’ in September, for which we are very grateful.
If you haven’t yet visited our social enterprise café, Rise at the Cove is now open every day from 7.00am until 4.00pm, so we invite you all to visit us and enjoy the beautiful Greystones promenade. The café sells coffee and other hot beverages, gelato and a variety of baked goods made by our Ukrainian guests at Coolnagreina.
The mission of Rise at the Cove is to ensure successful social integration. The café also serves as a training ground for our Carraig Eden residents. The students in our care spend nine months in our residential rehab before starting the second phase of their recovery journey in Greystones. Some of our students have joined the team here at Rise at the Cove, working front of house or as trainee staff in coffee making and hospitality.
