改 往 修 來 存 一 念 我 今 懺 悔 並 發 願

I vow to rid myself of greed and desires And sow seeds of goodness to eliminate stinginess
願 竭 貪 婪 欲 望 水 善 布 種 子 去 慳 貪
yuàn jié tān lán yù wàng shuǐ shàn bù zhǒng zǐ qù qiān tān
I vow to eliminate anger and impatience And nourish the world with love
願 消 瞋 恚 躁 動 火 愛 潤 大 地 灑 人 間
yuàn xiāo chēn huì zào dòng huǒ ài rùn dà dì sǎ rén jiān
I vow to destroy ignorance and delusions Always listen to Right Dharma, and do good deeds
願 破 愚 癡 諸 迷 闇 多 聞 正 法 行 眾 善
yuàn pò yú chī zhū mí àn duō wén zhèng fǎ xíng zhòng shàn
I vow to break with pride and arrogance And uphold precepts, forbear, and be humble
願 折 貢 高 驕 慢 幢 持 戒 忍 辱 恭 自 謙
yuàn shé gòng gāo jiāo màn chuáng chí jiè rěn rǔ gōng zì qiān
