enjoyed it. I wanted to teach full time, but, although I had all of the “Real World Experience”, I
needed a sheet of paper from a teacher, in this case a college that would tell what was already
known. That I could teach. Isn’t that just stupid. Everything that you can and will learn can be
learned without the help of a teacher. The sole purpose of a teacher now, thanks to technology, is
to tell the accreditation board, yep, this person can do this.
I hate to break it to all present, future and even including myself, technology has made
teachers obsolete. So, yea, technology has definitely changed education.
Summary
Technology has changed education dramatically, without question. No more spending
hours on end to rent a work station at the library. No more waiting in line to print documents. As
far as education goes, technology has allowed for everything to be done from the comforts of
your own living rooms. Education has become portable in many aspects. Technology has made
education completely portable and almost too easy to obtain.
