Food Allergies

                 Each year, millions of people have allergic reactions to food .  Most food allergies cause minor symptoms . However,
                 some food allergies can cause severe, even life-threatening reactions . Refer to the Food Allergies Tool Kit for more
                 detailed information .

                 Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness

                 Good personal hygiene practices are an essential part of providing safe food to our guests .
                 Working If Sick

                 A sick employee should not to go to work . Not only can the employee infect other employees, but they may also
                 infect others through the food they prepared . This is especially true when one is sick with vomiting, fever, diarrhea,
                 jaundice or sore throat with a fever . Illnesses listed below are known as the BIG FIVE:
                   •   Hepatitis A virus
                   •   Salmonella
                   •   Shigella
                   •   E . coli
                   •   Norovirus
                 All FRC employees must carry the BIG FIVE card on their person at all times . Doing this signifies that the employee
                 understands that they must report any symptoms relating to a food borne illness to a manager immediately . In the
                 event one of these illness arises, employees are required to stay home until a doctor allows them back to work
                 again .

                 Pest Control

                 No pesticide may be applied except by a licensed pesticide applicator . Any pesticide the licensed applicator
                 uses must be specifically approved for food service use .  No pesticides or pesticide equipment can be stored at
                 the restaurant .
