WELCOME
Congratulations and Welcome to Fox Restaurant Concepts! We are excited to add you to our dynamic, rapidly
growing team. The training you receive will be challenging, stimulating and extensive; this training tool kit is only
the beginning. We ask for full commitment from our management team; you must become an expert at food and
beverage - our craft and you must become an outstanding leader of people. Your personal growth is a priority for
us, and you must make it a priority for yourself to achieve success.
Our company was started by Sam Fox in 1998 in Tucson, Arizona at a restaurant called Wildflower. Sam’s vision
at Wildflower, which remains unchanged today, was simple: If you show your guests hospitality, innovative food,
and a level of service that amazes them, they will show you unwavering loyalty.
By signing your offer letter, you have agreed to eliminate the word “no” from your vocabulary. There is nothing
within the law that we will not do for our guests. We will go purchase their movie tickets for them so they don’t have
to wait in line after dinner. We will remember their preferences, tastes, quirks and requests, and most important of
all, their names. We will send people to the store for them, find them cigar bars for after dinner, call cabs, limos
or hotels - even locate and carry special products for our regular guests. Best of all, our talented chefs will prepare
anything, anytime for anyone with our fresh ingredients and well trained culinary employees.
At FRC, we are way beyond “focused on the guest.” We are obsessed with the guest. The entire framework of
our company was built around the guest experience, and the rest - training systems and financial results - fell into
place later. The passion we have for food, wine, hospitality and people drives us to succeed on a personal level
every day, and our guest focused business decisions create successful restaurants.
The framework and systems detailed in this tool kit are essential to the success of your business (the restaurant), and
our consistency is created by their use, but the systems are not the reason you are here; they are tools to facilitate
your success. You are here to provide leadership and vision to your employees. You are here to teach and learn
every day. You are here to create an atmosphere that delights your guests the moment they see the restaurant. One
of Sam’s wishes is to create restaurateurs and entrepreneurs by running a company that both teaches and inspires
its people. We are pleased that you have chosen our team, and we welcome you!
