Creating a New Customer

8 If a customer wants to order
alcohol from CCA, you will need
to tick the check box

9 If you have selected the liquor
licence check box, you will need to
fill out the following field
Due to the state laws, you will not
be able to place a liquor order for
your customer for 24 hours, as the
liquor licence needs to be validated
by MDC

You cannot do a redirection if the order contains alcohol products, this is because a
rule has been applied in SAP using the License Customer Type field which will not
allow these orders to be dispatched. The only exception to this rule are Marketing
Outlets which are excluded by the set up of the License Customer Type field. This
rule is to ensure CCA are meeting legal requirements and not delivering alcohol to an
unlicensed venue

10 BDE Code – To complete the
required information on the sales
tab, enter the 4 digit BDE code.
This will auto populate

KAM details – If the customer is a
key account you will need to enter
a KAM. Type in the first name of
the KAM in the KAM code field
and you will be able to select from
the list

Article group – The article group is
the list that contains all the
products you can order

Invoice types – The invoice type
determines whether or not the $
value displays on the invoice when
the customer gets the invoice. E.G
BIG W does not see the price on
the invoice they only get a delivery
slip
