Quantitative Data Analysis
                                              Simply Explained Using SPSS

                                  Multiple Regressions

So far we have learned about simple regression (with one predictor
variable). Most of the time in practical research, we have to deal
with multiple predictors. In such cases, we conduct multiple
regression analysis. Multiple Regression equation is simply the
               extension of simple regression equation

               Recall the simple regression equation:
                                         ̂

Thus, the generalize form of multiple regression equation is

                ̂

Where b is the coefficient of each predictor variable
Example: Suppose we were interested in predicting freshman GPA
using High School percentage, entrance exam score, number of
               extra curriculum activities, etc.
