Buddhist Kulim as its permanent building. The
committee members were grateful and immediately
started to raise funds for renovation. In response to

too small and was often overcrowded during Dharma

purchase of land for a new building.

An extraordinary general meeting was held on
29 October 1984 and it unanimously approved
the acquisition of land at Jalan Tunku Putera for
the construction of the new building. The first
preparatory meeting was held on 20 December 1984
and the preparatory committee for the new building
was formed.
