You will notice from the square wave spectrum the

absence of even harmonics, only the odd

harmonics are present.

You may have already used a commercial spectrum

analyser, there are many of these on the market.

Choice depends on the frequency range.

One interesting

feature is the

waterfall display.

As each new

spectrum is displayed,

the previous

spectrum is pushed upwards and back.
