In the fifth photo you can see a chimney which is no
longer in use, but it was part of the facility that
provided gas throughout the city of Cambridge.
The gas was derived from
coal, but has long ceased
operation, however it is a
monument to a bygone era.
Finally in the last photo you
can see a family of swans,
they are many swans on the
River Cam and they are
interesting to watch and
overall they add to the
richness of the experience of travelling along the river.
