The Pads have an adhesive backing that is designed to stick directly to the casualty’s skin. When attaching the pads the casualty’s skin must be clean and dry with only a small amount of hair.
Adult Pads
When defibrillating a patient over the age of 8 or greater than 25 kilograms you should use the adult pads. The adult pads are usually placed on the upper right side of the chest and the lower left side of the chest.
