How to improve communication?
1. Communication in an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust,
acceptance, understand and interest.
2. The nurse should have a range of knowledge and previous
experience.
3. Minimize verbal participation so the client has the chance of
verbalization.
4. Allow clients to express their negative feelings
5. Accept period of silence
6. Avoid ineffective communication techniques
7. Avoid sharing of personnel life experiences
