Prof Didibhuku Thwala awarded the SEDRC 2022 Excellence Award for Leadership in Sustainable
Construction in Africa and Mentor of the Decade. Awarded at the11th Sustainable Education and
Development Research conference (SEDRC) held on the 24th of August 2022 at Kwame Nkrumah University
of Science and Technology, in Ghana. The SEDRC award was presented in recognition of Prof Thwala's
outstanding contributions and achievements that exemplify and support-built environment research in Africa.
