         KLOOFZICHT MULDERSDRIFT.




         The Topology, Algebra and Category Theory conference of 2022 was held in honour of Professor Themba A.Dube
         from the department of Mathematical Sciences. It was a celebration of not only his renowned work, but his birthday and
         retirement, a celebration that included his mentors, students,   and colleagues from around South Africa and the
         internationally. Professor T Meyiwa saluted Prof Dube and Prof Mamba cheered off the conference, both with words of
         wisdom for the attendees and encouragement for continuing the race as set by Prof Dube. Though he may be retiring ,
         CSET  has  been  rewarded  by  four  of  student  he  mentored  who  are  currently  permanent  staff  members  at  the
         department of Mathematical Sciences to run with the baton of pure mathematics in the college.
