USE THE RIGHT TONE OF VOICE



                   Your intentions are conveyed by the tone you use, it needs to be varied.
                         Here are three styles of elocution, illustrated by three drawings



           When MAKING STATEMENTS, your speech

            must be forthright

             -  Speak loudly, clearly and precisely
             -  Articulate your consonants
             -  And punctuate your sentences


             When EXPRESSING IDEAS, your speech
             must be conversational

             -  Your tone should be calm and natural
             -  Your delivery should be moderate
             -  And your syllables flowing

             When PROPOSING, reassuring or giving
             good news, your speech should be relaxed

             -  Let go vocally and smile
             -  Slow down delivery even further
             -  Lower the volume
             -  Lengthen your syllables.

                                                           it may be tough to changeyour pitch but anyone can speak
                                                           more loudly
        Tips for a good                                    Pronounce your words clearly:

                                                           it may be hard to understand exactly what you say, don’t
        voice delivery                                     make it more difficult

                                                           Use vocal emphasis on key words
                                                           to reinforce the meaning
                                                           Use pauses:
                                                           for the public, to understand the meaning of what‘s been
                                                           said and for you to relax, breathe and formulate your
                                                           coming ideas.
                                                           It will also prevent you from verbal (Er  well… you know...)
