The Map View recruitment of workforce and gender disparity are few other
roadblocks to successful implementation of Tele MANAS.
Conclusion
It can prove a game changer for the health insurance sector
if they leverage this platform to create awareness about the
various health insurance schemes and mental health
coverage through products thereby addressing penetration
challenges faced by the industry. The government could also
connect community radios for delivery of the counselling
service and bring aboard NGOs and civil society organisations
working in remote areas to bring more users on the
platform. Tele-MANAS is certainly a step in the right
direction towards providing accessible and affordable mental
health support across latitude and longitude of India. Only
a healthy nation contributes to the progress of care
economy.
