NS Vishwanathan appointed Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of
India

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on 28 June 2016 announced the appointment
of NS Vishwanathan as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Vishwanathan will succeed Harun R Khan who will retire on 3 July 2016.

NS Vishwanathan Vishwanathan served as the Principal Chief General Manager in the Department of non-banking
supervision at Reserve Bank of India. He has been an Executive Director at Reserve Bank of India since April 2014. He
also worked as the Chief General Manager of Vigilance at IFCI Ltd.

N K Chari takes over as MD of State Bank of Mysore

N.K. Chari took over as the Managing Director (MD) of State Bank of Mysore. The State Bank of
Mysore is one of the associate banks of State Bank of India (SBI).

Prior to his new position, N.K. Chari served as the Deputy Managing Director of State Bank of India.
He joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in September 1978.

He has also headed the Mid Corporate Vertical of State Bank of India. Prior to that, he was the Chief N K Chari
General Manager of State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle, covering the four states of Jammu and

Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. He holds a postgraduate degree

in Commerce from Delhi University.

C R Sasikumar takes over as MD of State Bank of Travancore

CR Sasikumar on 1 June 2016 took over as Managing Director (MD) of State Bank of Travancore
(SBT). The State Bank of Travancore is one of the associate banks of State Bank of India (SBI).

Sasikumar started his career as a probationary officer with SBI in 1978. Since then, he has held
several key assignments. Prior to the present posting in State Bank of Travancore, he worked as
Deputy Managing Director, Inspection & Management Audit, at SBI Corporate Centre in Hyderabad.

Sri T C Suseel Kumar has taken over as the New Zonal Manager, LIC

Sri T C Suseel Kumar has taken over as the New Zonal Manager (in the cadre of Executive Director)
of South Central Zone. Shri T. C. Suseel Kumar has an experience of 30 years in Life Insurance
Corporation of India.

Currently he is Executive Director Incharge heading LIC's operation in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana T C Suseel Kumar
and Karnataka States. In his earlier stint as Executive Director (Customer Relations Management)
at the corporate level, he was handling a huge portfolio of 40 crore customers with an annual
renewal premium income of Rs. 2 lakh crores. He has also headed LIC's Bancassurance operations
at corporate level.
