State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur Annual General Meeting-2016

55th Annual General Meeting of the
Shareholders of the State Bank of Bikaner &
Jaipur was held at Maharana Pratap
Auditorium, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Jaipur
under the Chairmanship of Smt. Arundhati
Bhattacharya, Chairman of State Bank
Group. Shri Jyoti Ghosh, Managing Director
was present with other Directors, Chief
General Managers and General Managers of
the Bank.

A large number of shareholders attended the
meeting. Smt. Bhattacharya deliberated
upon Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account,
Directors' Report and Auditors' Report of the
Bank for the year ended on 31st March,
2016.

She had told that business of the Bank reached the level of 1,68,748 Crore with a growth of 8.60%, where total deposit
increased by 11.59% while advances increased by 5.05% . The Operating profit shown a growth of 9.55% and dividend
at the rate of 143% was declared by the Bank.

The Bank has network of 1316 branches and 1954 ATMs out of which 57 branches and 111 ATMs were opened during
the year. The Bank has achieved the target to cover 8175 villages under financial inclusion initiatives and 35.30 lacs
accounts were opened under PMJDY. The Bank has insured more than 7.33 lacs people under PMJJY and PMSBY. The
Priority Sector Advances constituted 41.52% of the Adjusted Net Bank Credit, which was above the RBI benchmark of
40%. The Bank contributed to various communities based social activities to serve the community at large.

International Yoga Day

On the occasion of International Yoga Day
on 21.06.2016, SBBJ organized a
workshop on Yoga. Shri Jyoti Ghosh,
Managing Director addressed the
participants and highlighted the benefits
of yoga. The CGM (RB), Shri S.Harisankar
and other senior functionaries and staff
members as also members of the SBBJ
Ladies Club led by its President Smt. Sumita
Ghosh participated in the programme.

The participants at the workshop
performed yoga exercises guided by Shri
Raghu Nandan Vashishth, Bank's own
officer and a yoga expert. On the occasion
of International Yoga Day at the entire
Bank's zonal offices also organized
workshops on Yoga.
