 United Bank of India observed Grahak Divas across all its branches

United Bank of India observed Grahak Divas at its 2000 plus branches across the country on 15th June 2016.The purpose
of the meet was to develop better customer understanding and enhance customer awareness about the various products/
services offered by the Bank. The meet was attended by large number of customers.

A presentation on the various products/services and the latest developments in the Bank was made before the customers.
Customers interacted with the branch officials and gave their feedback and suggestions. They expressed their satisfaction
at regular observance of Customer Meet in the branches.

    Bank of Maharashtra ahead in Women empowerment finance

Bank of Maharashtra has disbursed Rs. 57 Crore to 4295 Self Help Groups in the last financial year and stood number one
in women empowerment in the state of Maharashtra, as informed by the Joint Secretary of Ministry of Rural Development,
GoI.

In the financial year 2015-16 at national scenario, total of 12.87 lakh SHGs have been benefited by disbursement of Rs.
30,429 Cr and this indicates an increase of 42% (Y-o-Y) growth shown by all Banks.

Bank of Maharashtra, amongst all other Banks has done remarkable performance and the highest number of credit
linkage of SHGs happened in the state of Maharashtra where 3490 SHGs were disbursed credit amounting Rs 40 Crore.
The Bank has played pivotal role in extending credit and other financial services to women SHGs.

The Rural development department of Government of India has appreciated the Banks strong commitment towards
financial inclusion of poor and empowerment of women. The Ministry has congratulated the Bank for this achievement.
