                           Using Balusters as tread Supports
                           Common tread shapes can be pretty boring, so let’s move on to custom tread conditions. In
                           situations where you need to be a bit more inventive, you’re going to create a custom baluster.
                           This technique can either create a custom support element for the default treads or it can
                           indicate the actual tread.
                             But instead of the baluster being vertical, it’s going to be horizontal. This horizontal baluster
                           will be used in conjunction with the default tread. This baluster may even completely envelop
                           the tread (Figure 15.34).
