An amount of R1.8 million previously used to compensate developing farmers
with ASF outbreak, was repaid to SAPPO from GDARD. It was not budgeted
for.
An amount of R1.9 million has to be spent by the end of the financial year.
The members were comfortable with the reporting of the finances.
6.2 Financial Control Culture
The committee members took note of the expenses above R300 000 that was
tabled.
The biggest expenses were to AccTech, Food Lovers Market and SARS. The
contract with AccTech had no specific amount as the occurred expenses was
project based.
Decision:
Johann Kotzé has to table the benefit of the expenses to AccTech at the next
meeting of the Audit committee for reference to the Executive Board.

AccTech must be invited to do a presentation on data security at the next
Audit committee meeting.
