absolutely alone in the Secret Cavern. The Stone of Venus didn’t reflect the Sign
Tyrodinguiburr anymore but I could see it if I proposed to. Finally, after five days of
meditation, I decided to get closer to Turdes and to send messengers to convoke you and
realize the requested meeting by the Lord of Venus.
A few minutes elapsed where anyone spoke; all had remained as bewitched by the
narration of the Noyo. Finally, one of the Man of Stone interrogated:
–The Stone; what meant the Lord of Venus when he spoke about leaving us a Stone?
–Well, the case is that when he faded away from the Right Angle– replied the Noyo– a
curious Stone appeared from where He was, and I was unable to explatin how it reached to that
part of the Cavern.
–And what have you done with it?
–I have brought it here! –The Noyo opened a leather bag that he had tied to his waist and
extracted from it a rustic piece of black basalt. The Stone was little column of 8 or 9 inches tall
and rectangular base; without doubting he give it to whom had asked him for it. Soon it passed

–I have placed the Stone in a similar form as I found it in the Secret Cavern –he said–.
Now we just have to Wait and Watch.
At the beginning nobody noticed anything due to the phenomenon occurred very slowly.
But, in one moment, and the Men of Stone could not determine when, the vertex of the
corner appeared strangely bright. Then everyone saw a vertical white light where the both
flats of the wall united in the right angle. Such luminosity covered the vertex completely and
caused the sensation to have emerged from a thin slit, as if the walls were separated by an
infinitesimal aperture, a window to another world. But the vertex of light was what was seen in
relation to walls of the tower; because if the vertex was aligned with the Stone, the image
changed suddenly and the phenomenon acquired it most curious character: observed in that
